Knowledgeable and experienced candidates who can add value to our team are needed for the Entry Level Power House Utility Operator position.
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a safe work standard in a highly industrial environment.

Required Criteria for the position:
High school diploma or GED required (must provide proof of education)
2 continuous years of full time boiler/ power plant operations experience within the past 6 years
Must be willing to work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances.
Must be willing to perform essential elements of the job as determined by Company, i.e. perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for an extended period of time (lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, going up and down stairs routinely, and working at heights) with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to work in a 7 day operation with 12 hour rotating shifts including holidays, weekends and overtime.

Preferred Criteria:
Previous experince work in a team concept is a plus
Strong problem solving skills desired
Experience in operating heavy equipment, rotating machinery, chemical handling and lubrication is a plus
Experienced in using basic hand and power tools such as wrench, hammer, drill, and circular saw is a plus
Experience in power plant safety policies, procedures and operations specifically in areas of water treatment, steam and power distribution systems
Able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication
Able to clearly communicate trouble shooting issues, read and follows instructions, record numbers, and report concerns.
