Job Description: Kicklighter Academy is a pre-school specializing in integrating children with disabilities into classrooms with typically developing children. We currently have an opening for a Teacher’s Assistant. The following is a list of qualifications needed to apply for the position:

~Be at least 18 years of age
~Have either a High School Diploma or GED
~At least 2 years of childcare experience
~Demonstrate flexibility, positive attitude and team spirit
~Good written and communication skills
~Be friendly and outgoing and able to play with children

Some of the duties of this position will be:
~Assisting the Academy Lead Teacher to oversee the education of a group of children, planning their activities in conjunction with their curriculum
~Maintain a clean and safe environment for our children, parents/guardians and staff
~Attend all required staff meetings and training
~Attend a minimum of 15 training hours per year of KRC/BFTS approved training

This position will be full time Monday thru Friday 9:00am- 6:00pm. Compensation is based on experience, but will be between $7.25 and $7.75 per hour. This position is to be filled immediately. Benefits available. Email resume to Dianne@krcmail.org or fax to 912.355.4206 Attn: Dianne
