Job Description: SUMMARY: Registered Nurse shall provide RN coverage to a variable number of shifts. Nurses may be scheduled to work 8 to 12 hour shifts. Work hours are subject to change in order to support extended clinic hours and may include weekends/holidays. Qualification: • INTENSIVE CARE UNIT REGISTERED NURSES shall have one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years working as an RN in a hospital intensive care unit. Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses will be required to pass a written examination (Credentialing ICU Test). • PSYCHIATRIC REGISTERED NURSES shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last (3) years working as an RN in the care of psychiatric patients. • OPERATING ROOM REGISTERED NURSES shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years working as an RN in the operating room. Knowledge of medical gases used and storage/safety/changing of tanks is required. • EMERGENCY ROOM REGISTERED NURSES shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years working in an Emergency Room and shall maintain Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification. • MOTHER-BABY UNIT REGISTERED NURSES shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years working in a combined Mother-Baby Unit and shall possess and maintain current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NAP) certification. • MED-SURG REGISTERED NURSES “FAMILY CARE UNIT” shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years in Medical/Surgical nursing in a hospital setting. • All Registered Nurses must take Math/Medication test Prior to employment. Education/Experience: • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; has successfully completed the National Council Licensure Examination for a Registered Nurse; and possesses a license to practice as an RN in a State, Commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. • A minimum of one (1) year’s experience within the last three (3) years working as a RN in the area in
